JIVAMUKTI Spiritual Warrior

Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior classes are designed for busy people who only have one hour to practice. The class is fast and stimulating, and it is certainly a "get fit" class. The structure is a fixed set sequence instructed in a Vinyasa style. It is a totally balanced class that includes warming of asanas, songs, establishment of intentions, surya namaskar, standing postures, backward bends, forward bends, turns, investments, meditation and relaxation. The teacher focuses on keeping pace and does not stop to give spiritual speeches. Since the sequence of asanas is always the same, a student will pick it up quickly after only a couple of classes.


Hatha yoga is the mental yoga applied to the body. The body is the instrument main and take advantage of all its possibilities practicing and experiencing the aerobic exercise, breathing control, relaxation, etc. His dedicated practice contemplates a complete personal development not only physically but also mentally and emotionally.

Each Basic Jivamukti Yoga class is part of a four-week program and in each of them a different topic is explored:
Week one: asanas of standing postures
Week two: ground asanas and forward push-ups
Week three: ground asanas and backward position
Week four: Investments and meditation practicing everything together.


While in the Beginner and Open Vinyasa classes emphasis is placed on Vinyasa, the Basic class focuses on alignment. Students are taught how to do both asanas and the use of positions. The Basic classes are provided with a structure that serves as a transition to an Open class in an intelligent and safe way. Students are encouraged to complete the four-week program of the Basic course. Intermediate and advanced yogis can also benefit from exploring the essential alignment presented in these classes. It is recommended that a student who enrolls in the four-week program start at the first but can also start at any other. It is also possible to attend as many classes as you want each week


Yoga style that by maintaining asanas aims to recover functioning of joints and tissues at a deep level undoing the accumulated tensions daily. Calm and settle the mind balancing energy.


The practice of yoga for children is not intended to be competitive or demonstrative. That is, we practice to have fun and feel part of a group. Everything is taught through games and songs. Without realizing it, children strengthen, stretch and stabilize their body, while calming their mind and increasing their self-awareness.
